BROW LAMINATION PRE-CARE
Please fill out the CONSENT FORM if this is your first time and/or have not filled one out.
A few days/a week (depending how much you use) before your appointment, please avoid any topical creams and serums that contain retinol, AHA's, and BHA’s as this will make your skin more sensitive.
For best results, please grow your eyebrow hairs and avoid trimming/threading/waxing/plucking for up to 4 weeks prior.
***I do not offer waxing but I do clean up the brow area with a razor. If you prefer waxing I suggest doing so 4 days prior to your appointment.***
It is important for this area to be clean and free of makeup, pressed powders and moisturizers
BROW LAMINATION AFTERCARE
Aftercare is extremely important following this service as poor aftercare, in extreme cases, can result in the loss of brow hair.
Do not wet your eyebrows for 24-48 hours (NO DIRECT WATER IN THE SHOWER (avoid steamy showers for the first 24 hours as it can affect tint and lamination), NO SWIMMING, NO saunas.)
NO SWEATING AKA WORKING OUT FOR THE FIRST 24 HOURS
Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils
Do not apply makeup to the brows for 24 hours post-treatment
Do not apply Retin A, aha or exfoliate the brow area for 72 hours before or after the treatment
No self-tanner products should be used on the face for at least 48 hours post-treatment
Apply castor oil nightly starting 24 hrs after service (failing to do so can result in dry brow hair)
Comb the hairs into place each day
It is recommended to schedule brow lamination treatments 8-12 weeks apart.
Must wait 6 weeks in between booking lamination appointments.
